High Foundation is a private charitable organization that collaborates with Lancaster-based and regional non-profit organizations, with a strong focus on eliminating poverty and revitalizing Lancaster City. High Foundation traces its roots to 1980 when it was founded by members of the High Family to support positive change in areas of identified need in the community.  

With the help of the third generation of the High Family, High Foundation continues to support, fund, and revitalize its community.

As Chair Emeritus of the High companies, Dale High remains active in the businesses he built and led. Together with his family, he has increased his focus on philanthropic activities.
